Job Description
Review established recruitment and selection policies and processes as per business needs & prevailing market dynamics and provide inputs for any changes to be made to these
Play an active role in the recruitment of various positions across the organization
Administer the selection process in terms of preparation of selection schedules, identification of panel members for various stages of the selection process to ensure adherence to the defined process
Maintain central control of background checks for all applicants and ensure timely completion of all pre-joining / joining formalities (background checks, pre-employment medical check-ups, verification of all original documents submitted by employees, etc.) for all new joiners
Design and regularly update the induction module for all new joiners and ensure timely conduct of this module by the corporate and regional recruitment teams
Maintain MIS related to recruitment; ensure regular filing & update of personal files of employees
Identify and finalize channels for sourcing talent e.g. Academic Institutes (for entry level requirements), Placement Consultants, Advertisements, Job Portals, Employee Referrals, walk-ins, etc
Establish the sourcing channels by entering into agreements/ partnerships with selected placement consultants, subscribing to identified job portals, etc.
Build and maintain strong relations with recruitment vendors, placement consultants, etc.
Monitor adherence to stated targets and budgets for manpower planning and recruitment
