Job Description

• Drive the delivery of overall Financial Compliance program/agenda at Regional level.


• Develop and maintain high level of financial compliance capability to support sustainable delivery of compliance objectives.


• Participate in implementation of new GSM and ensure they are embedded with effective controls.


• Promote compliance culture through training and other relevant initiatives.


• Ensure SOX compliance in particular for in-scope units.


• Lead and manage coordination of annual Letter of Assurance (LoA) process in the Region and ensure timely implementation of follow-up actions.


• Drive and support internal control improvements. Similarly, support other control improvement initiatives such as development of fraud risk assessment approach.


• Facilitate internal /external audits, and drive sustainable and timely remediation of outstanding audit issues.


• Ensure control testing and documentation updating is completed in a timely manner.


• Manage actively services provided by Cap Gemini.


• Support assessment and remediation/mitigation of SoD risks occuring in SAP and non-SAP environment.


• Drive Territory CRMC / FLT agenda from a financial compliance perspective and ensure that compliance issues (incl outstanding audit issues) are addressed and monitored effectively.


• Collaborate effectively with Group Financial/IS Compliance and other regional compliance leads to share best practice and maintain globally consistent standards.


• Develop risk-based approach to proactively mitigate and remediate potential risks before they occur.


• Assess and mitigate risks associated with new business model implementations and merger integration projects.


• Ensure adherence to Delegation of Authorities policies.
