Job Description

The Senior Manager, Operations, Media Businesses, India, is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of The Economist Media Businesses operations in Gurgaon. The operation in Gurgaon works with global teams across the division, developing and executing content and marketing campaigns, analysing syndicated research, and developing research. 

Research, analytics and data team that is responsible for coding and analyzing the surveys we produce for our clients and for internal use, for maintaining databases and running queries against them in support of the events and marketing teams, and for providing data runs on the syndicated data we purchase.

Design team that develops event backdrops and collateral as well as mock-ups and creative executions to support Integrated Marketing team. Audience development team that will be responsible for driving our events delegates marketing from creating the right lists, executing digital and emails campaigns to driving audiences through social and media campaigns to the content we produce for our clients

Events marketing team that supports the Events team globally in creating targeted marketing campaigns to drive delegate and sponsorship sales.

The teams will have dual reporting to the line managers primarily in London and to the Senior Manager, Operations, Media Businesses in India.

Work with the recruitment agencies, TEG HR and line managers to develop strong job descriptions, manage the interview process and select strongest possible candidates across all teams

Work with Economist teams around the world to evaluate future staff moves to the Gurgaon office, and manage the process of creating those new roles and reporting lines
