Job Description
Responsible for the payroll preparation of staff.
Must be able to handle all the payroll related statutory compliance's, such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund and TDS etc.
Strictly adhere to the statutory compliance's deadlines and -submit PF and ESI returns/challans on time. Ensure PF transfer and withdrawal formalities as per schedule. Generate ESI, PF numbers of new staff.
Follow up for variable Salary data from different stations, thoroughly verify data before final payment.
Generate TDS returns and submit quarterly and annual returns as per deadlines after coordination with accounts.
Prepare data related to attendance, overtime, leaves etc in the time and attendance software.
Invite fiscal investment declaration from the staff across various stations and keep track of investments/HRA receipts, medical bills, LTA records etc. Maintain all the records of investments.
Update valid investments into payroll software and review investment data at regular intervals. Maintain all such investment records for audits.
Generate Form16/salary certificate, review for correctness and distribute to staff after signature from the authorized signatory.
Follow up with the bank for the new bank accounts, update new bank accounts and advise bank for closer of salary account of left employees.
Follow up for the ESI biometric cards of the staff, keep track of pending ESI cards.
