Configuration and administration of Web servers (Apache + Tomcat) locally and at remote datacenter.

Configuring & managing Linux Virtualization

Configuration and administration of MySQL / PostgreSQL database server

Provide L2 support to all Linux and Windows issues

Key Skills:

Minimum 3- years experience on Linux a in enterprise environment

CCNA Certified,Red Hat Certified,Linux Certified

Good knowledge of configuration and administration of Apache, Tomcat, DNS, IP Tables, Send Mail, SVN

Good knowledge in Configuration and administration of LAMP

Good knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL

Experience in bash scripting

Desired Skills:

Good communication skill ( both written & Verbal)

Meticulous in documentation skills

Methodological approach to problem solving

Experience with XEN based Virtualization

Vendor Management and working with IT suppliers

Knowledge of ITIL best practices

Industry certifications like MCSE and RHCE will be an asset
