Job Description

C++/Linux SW development (kernel and user space)

Bring-up of STB - Middleware / IPTV, Headend, DTV, PVR etc

Knowledge of adding new services in STB Middleware, familiarity of Cisco- STB Middleware, Open TV and related frameworks, etc,are added advantage

Tuner /Network Driver development & integration for embedded devices

Experience with Linux, Linux SE, Kernel development a plus

Has worked independently in incorporating small to medium features and delivering the product to other teams

Debugging on target (JTAG, gdb)

Experience in working on Video technologies esp.MPEG, MPEG-SI, IPTV, OTT related technologies would be a plus

L2/L1 Networking knowledge is added advantage

Good communication skills. Email communication and documentation should be clear and crisp.

Exposure to Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum

SW development/mgmt tools - knowledge of source versioning systems (GIT), JIRA, Coverity is a plus.
