Job Description

We are currently seeking Quantitative Researchers with relevant experience in financial services sector and with a passion for research to join our growing strategic quantitative research practice in our India Center of Excellence.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Market Research to join Prescient and provide consultative research to meet the needs of predominantly international clients in the pharmaceutical industry. The Director of Market Research will be personally responsible for generating insights from market research to answer client business questions. The successful candidate will lead the development of new client relationships and manage strategic accounts alongside our clinical and disease area experts.

The type of work conducted at Prescient typically entails large-scale problem solving for new product planning, brand planning and mature brand planning. This often involves exploratory research supported by broader landscape work that leads to a robust assessment of the market. The candidate will need to be comfortable working across a range of research methodologies to deliver the right solution to each client.

Experience in delivering bespoke research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies is essential. The candidate would be expected to lead complex and challenging engagements, such as helping clients assess the clinical and commercial opportunity of an asset to support the Phase III investment decision. Projects can be delivered in a workshop format, so experience managing and engaging large groups of senior executives is required.

The majority of studies conducted at Prescient require integrating insights from different methodologies with secondary and primary data. The post holder would serve as the lead on the market research element of engagements and collaborate with scientific and medical colleagues on the secondary data collection.
