Job Description

The Economic & Regulatory Advisory team provides policy and strategic advice to a range of public and private sector clients across a broad spectrum of issues such as infrastructure, environment, health, employment, education and tourism. The service offering includes: cost benefit analysis, program review and analysis, regulatory and economic impact statements, industry analysis and foresighting, and economic modelling and analysis.

 

The Director will be a part of the Strategy & Operations Consulting practice in Management Consulting. He will be based out of Ahmedabad,Hyderabad or Chennai depending on candidate preference and will develop the market for Strategy & Operations(S&O) management consulting.



- The individual will be required to generate new business for the practice, establish client connects, qualify leads independently and deliver revenue on client engagements.The team provides deep sector knowledge with strong technical skills in economics, econometrics and quantitative analysis to address key issues in strategy, regulation, competition, planning, valuation and government policy

• Responsible for getting mandates from clients and for building up a team to deliver the client mandates


• Work closely with the Engagement Partner in assignment planning, to include defining the scope of work, clearing any conflicts, budgeting and dealing with staff planning


• Project manage teams, plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with the client.


• Being a true business advisor to the client and establish yourself as a key client contact.


• Contribute to the preparation and delivery of pitches and proposals to clients and prospective clients.


• Build on and develop internal and external networks through personal contacts.


• Proactively share technical and other knowledge with team, drawing on previous experience and current learning. Play a key role in team training and related technical events.


• Play a role in business plan initiatives (e.g. key accounts, recruitment, client service framework)
