Job Description

 Looking out for a Sr.Designer with an E-commerce Company (An online portal for Jewellery space) :

Role & Responsibilities:



Team -Work closely with Design, CAD and Merchandising teams



- Creating Unique and Exquisite Designs that commensurate with the Jewellery brand



- In conjunction with the Senior Management, develop new collections, and conceptualize/develop designs for new product categories as needed. Interpret Design briefs into exciting collections. Ability to create, develop and build a \'collection\'



- Conduct ground research on design trends in the Indian jewellery market and upcoming customer preferences for identifying opportunities of innovations for brand.



- Research on key trends in International jewellery brands that will influence the Indian market



General Skills :



- Passionate about Design and jewellery



- Creative and ORIGINAL 



- Team work: open communicative personality with multiple interests, transparent and cooperative team player



- Strong sense of aesthetics, open to feedback, willingness to learn new computer software and other skills



- Working under high pressure to meet delivery timelines



Technical Skills :



- Thorough knowledge of art & science of jewellery making. Well versed with technical drawing and diamond breakup calculations



- Great visualization skills, comfortable with 3-dimensional creations



- Coreldraw / illustrator (Photoshop/Jewelcad/Rhino would be a plus)



- The candidate should be able to present a good body of work as a jewellery designer based on number of years of experience.
